Welcome to the SnailCraft Rarities!

An archive of rares created and released for the SnailCraft Minecraft server.

Categories

One of the most popular requests for the Applecraft Rares wiki I received was an ability to search for rares by abilities, enchantments, or item type. This was a request I was not able to fulfill due to the daunting backlog of rares that had built up long before the wiki had started. With the opening of Snailcraft, it gives me a fresh start where I can have the time to think about what categories to pick for organization. The creation of a category is based on what I think people will be interested in searching for or collecting.

Category Suggestions

If enough people request a specific category, I will create it. Things I will not be creating categories for include, but are not limited to the following:

  1. Vanilla enchantments - If you're searching for a sword with sharpness V on it, you can apply the enchantment yourself to any sword you find.
  2. Novelty enchantments - If a rare is released with an enchantment, "Friendship X", I'm not creating a friendship enchantment category.
  3. Specific level enchantment/effect - A rare with Jump II is going into the same "Jump Boost" category as a rare with Jump IV.
    1. Exceptions are for high demand non-vanilla enchantments, such as Efficiency VI or Looting IV.
  4. Overly specific abilities - A rare that shoots dyes, and a rare that shoots cobwebs would go into the same "Item Shooter" category. I won't make specific categories for "[specific item] Shooters". This ruling applies for abilities outside item shooters as well.
  5. Overly specific item types - I'd create a "sword" category that contains all swords, but I won't create 6 separate categories for each type of sword, such as "wood sword", "stone sword", etc.

Situations I would create categories for:

  1. If several sheep themed rares were released on the server and Woolu requested a "sheep" category.
  2. If rares released in separate crates follow an obvious theme or are part of the same line of rares. Examples include the postcard rares, and unbreakable tool rares.
