This tool can be used to clear blocks from a chunk between Y:62 - Y:319. You can hold this in your offhand when placing blocks that you wish to remove later. When held in your main hand, you can left click to select the target block that you had placed from earlier, and then crouch right click to clear it from the chunk you're standing in! This effectively makes the pocket watch a simple world edit tool, which is popular for activities such as maparting as it allows you to place blocks across multiple chunks and then clear them at a later time with no extra hassle!
