Overview
Pets are custom mobs that are linked to an owner and will follow/teleport to their owner. Each pet has its own unique animations and features. The features of each pet are displayed in the /pets GUI when you hover over a pet's icon.
Pets can be summoned with /pets and revoked with /pets revoke. They also can be named with /pets name.
Each player can choose a starter pet for free at the Pet Shop. Additional pets are obtained through crates, quests, events, the Pet Shop NPC, or through the webstore.
Starter Pet
Every player can claim a free starter pet when joining SnailCraft. Each starter pet grants its owner a different attribute. Once you choose your starter, you cannot pick another starter or swap for a new one. If you want to collect all 3 starters, you can purchase the additional 2 using Escargold.
| Name | Uses | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Starter Frog | Jump I Effect: on owner | Can be swapped between the 3 vanilla frog variants. |
| Starter Bat | Night Vision Effect: on owner | Has no pathfinding but will teleport back to you if it gets far enough away |
| Starter Fox | Speed I Effect: on owner | Can be swapped between the 2 vanilla fox variants. You can right-click the pet to make it sit or stand |
