Overview

Land claiming is the main way to protect your belongings and base from theft and griefing. In the starter kit there is a golden shovel which is used to create the claim. Claims are created by right-clicking the two opposite corners of the area you wish to claim. The corners of the claim will show as gold blocks and glowstone once the claim is successfully created.
Claiming areas requires claim blocks. Claim blocks are earned through playtime and voting, and are also available for purchase in the SnailCraft webstore. You can check the number of blocks you have available by doing /claimlist.
If you lose your golden shovel, you can pick one up from the Theo NPC at Spawn.
You can right-click the ground with coal to see if the area is claimed, or if there are nearby claims.
